Payroll Specialist - Long Term Temporary Opportunity -
Wayne, NJ
Kelly Financial Resources is working with a major
Medical Device company. This company has an immediate
need for a Payroll Specialist, CPP preferred.
Payroll Specialist - Position responsibilities
Performs all payroll practitioner duties including
importing, balancing and controlling earnings and
deduction totals.
Processing of all special payrolls including bonus
and adjustments.
Process bi-weekly payrolls through ADP s Enterprise
Version 4, which includes auditing data entry
completed. by self.
Data entry also includes severance, disability,
COLA, car allowance, educational assistance, etc.
Maintain and reconcile time and labor management
system using Kronos and ADP Enterprise E time.
Complete gross-up calculations relating to
relocation, bonuses, awards and all taxable fringe
benefits required for W-2s reporting.
Review and maintain employee tax data, federal,
state and local. Perform standard and special
request reports for Human Resources, accounting or
other departments as may be needed.
Confidentiality must be maintained and may warrant
authorization from Payroll Manager for special
reporting.
Generate and maintain monthly reports and
spreadsheets, using Reportsmith and Excel.
Experience and education requirements:
College Degree or equivalent in education and
experience preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of payroll
experience.
CPP certification preferred. Skilled in ADP s
Enterprise Payroll, ADP Reportsmith, ADP Employee
Self Service, ADP Health and Welfare.
Advanced proficiency in Excel required.
Excellent customer relations skills necessary.
Working knowledge of payroll laws and tax principles
with strong mathematical/accounting skills.
Must be a team player and self starter, taking
initiative when needed.
