Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage all sales activities in a geographic region for GYN surgical products.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota for NovaSure through leading, motivating and supporting sales representatives and sales activities.
  • Direct recruiting, staffing, training, coaching, development and performance evaluations for Senior Territory Managers, Territory Managers and Associate Territory Managers.
  • Develop accurate quarterly sales forecasts.
  • Develop district business plans and strategies.
  • Monitor expenditures of region to conform to budgetary requirements.

Qualifications
    Education

    Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience; MBA is a plus.

    Experience

    Minimum of 5-7 years related medical sales experience required.

    Previous management experience required.

    OB/GYN sales experience preferred.

    Specialized Knowledge

  • The ideal candidate will exhibit a passion for our business and have strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. He or she must also be flexible, team-orientated, self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment and a strong work ethic.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Other popular business software expertise a plus.
  • Proven ability to motivate and direct sales team to meet goals and objectives through influencing representative behavior.
  • Due to position requirement of extensive driving during the workday, a valid driving license and satisfactory driving record, as well as a serviceable vehicle available for work use is mandatory.
  • Required overnight travel of three nights a week.
  • May also require lifting and carrying equipment up to 25 pounds
