The Product Sales Specialist (PSS) provides product knowledge in assigned accounts to help Territory Sales Manager achieve the maximum sales volume potential of specific product lines in his or her respective accounts consistent with marketing and profitability objectives. Ensure that the Territory Sales Managers receive adequate support in developing customer solutions. Possess an understanding of the accounts' capabilities by functional location. Develop a working relationship with necessary customer personnel to help the Territory Sales Manager move the sales process to closing
Assist with the preparation of new and existing products and programs. Collaborate with the sales team to obtain information on existing products and services to enhance offerings to customers. Prepare business documentation and conduct standard or tailored presentations as necessary.Improve existing program processes and create new processes as required. Assist in product management tasks such as price analysis, creation of sales tools and new product implementation. Support sales team in developing strategy using data on competitive products and market potential. Assist in representing the company at trade shows. Assist as required with customer support and product management. Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience 2 years sales experience. Industrial/manufacturing sales experience preferred Selling and negotiation skills and techniquesOrganization skills, time management and relationship managementComputer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software Effective written and oral communication skills
