Requisitions and issues parts, supplies and equipment. Maintains detailed inventory records of supplies and equipment on hand. Works with mechanics when selecting repair parts and issues stock to same. Operates repair shop radio to expedite the proper parts and service calls for SCDOT equipment in need of repair. Inspects, maintains and supervises cleaning of stockroom area in accordance with OSHA safety and fire regulations. Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
A high school diploma and two and one-half (2.5) years of work experience directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resouces Regulations.
A valid motor vehicle operator's license.
