In this role, you will be a member of a team of scientists and engineers responsible for the physical and mechanical characterization of advanced battery materials. You will collaborate with product, computational and process engineers to identify critical physical attributes of battery active materials and support development activities leading to the control of such attributes. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success (s) in driving pilot and manufacturing scale production of thin film products; detailed, hands on success in using ink jet, screen printing, sputtering, PECVD, E-Beam and thermal evaporation on large area substrates; large area coating experience such as glass and webs and familiarity with solar and other commercial thin film industries; and the ability to work independently and as part of an intense, high energy team.
Basic Qualifications: B.S. degree Physics/Applied Physics/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Materials Science with 2-4 years experience, M.S. degree Physics/Applied Physics/Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Materials Science with 0-3 years of experience.
