General Summary:
This is position is a key member of the Information Management team that will be working with US Finance Operations resources, to develop processes and data for support to analyze and report on all lines of business. This position will also lead a team of skilled information analyst in enhancing our analytic business capabilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Ensures business priorities are established for data warehouse/information management projects within the USB Finance organization
Partners w/IT Data Warehouse Management to identify project resources multiple and complex projects. Shares overall responsibility for data warehouse success the IT Data Warehouse management
Routinely communicates with USB Management to ensure they understand the impact of the project on their area and to make sure that the end result of the project will meet business needs.
Directs the activities of others (IT, other Info Mgmt staff, participants from other business areas)
Conducts training on business and information management topics that currently exist
Expert on multiple Functional and/or Product aspect of the data warehouse
Directs the activities within several Functional and/or Products areas
Proactively works with functional business areas to enhance the quality of data within the data warehouse
Work through complex business situations to arrive at effective and efficient support processes

Thorough knowledge of data warehousing/information management concepts and practices
Ability to multi-task across projects and subject areas
Strong business and technical analysis skills
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong testing and problem resolution skills
Demonstrated technical experience in Teradata, DB2, SQL, SAS and/or MS Tools
Expert in one or more of the following technical platforms: Mainframe, Microsoft OS
Ability to mentor junior information management staff
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Business preferred
Meets the standards for this position, as defined in the Talent Management Framework.
