The Controls Monitoring Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In addition, you will:
Lead the execution of financial, operational, and compliance audits, analysis of results, development of corrective actions, audit report preparation, corrective action follow-up and closeout
Collaborate with finance staff, group compliance focal points and Corporate Audit Staff to develop risk based audit plans
Audit plans are frequently linked to Sarbanes Oxley Act compliance efforts
Communicate audit results to the management team
Review and evaluate the audit results of assigned personnel
Provide advice and counsel to operations management conducting compliance investigations
Provide guidance and supervision to assigned personnel
Be responsible for the execution of Aviation’s Controls Monitoring function including site audits, SoX assessment and various compliance areas including Improper Payments (FCPA).
Manage the relationship with the 3rd party consulting firm that supports the Controls Monitoring function
Oversee the preparation and tracking of Aviation operational controllership metrics
Provide advisory services related to internal controls and process simplification
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a financial analysis position
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time, as required

Certified Public Accountant or Master's Degree of Business Administration (MBA)
Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues

Established analytical ability
Experience with a large multi-national auditing firm
Audit experience focused on internal controls over financial reporting
Manufacturing industry experience
