Serve as the Employee Relations Director. Provide sound advice on all disciplinary actions issued by the agency. Interpret Federal, State Human Resources and agency regulations, policies, rules and procedures and advise staff accordingly. Conduct mediation sessions between supervisor/manager and employees or between co-workers. Conduct training related to human resources topics. Conduct investigations of complaints. Manager the agency's Grievance, Unemployment, Student Loan Default and New Employee Orientation Processes.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Master's Degree in human resources and at least four (4) years of experience in human resources or a bachelor's degree in human resources and at least six (6) years of experience in human resources.
At least 6 years working in human resources dealing with employee relations issues. Well versed in Federal and State Human Resources regulations, policies, rules and procedures. Two (2) years supervisory experience.
