Position Summary:Cleans and processes all RT equipment. Maintains oxygen equipment on the floors. Orders stock supplies as needed.Scope:Uses mildly technical equipment requiring moderate expertise. Daily contact with nurses, therapists, other allied health personnel, as well as patients and visitors.
Does not directly provide patient care. Occasional handling of confidential information.Education:Preferred: Respiratory Therapy StudentExperience:Preferred: (a) Previous equipment technician experience. (b) Mechanically inclined.Knowledge and Skills:Good communication and interpersonal skills.Certification/Training:Preferred: Respiratory Therapy Student
