Be responsible for the oversight of technical staff during evening hours/or other times as needed to ensure the cleaning and decontamination of surgical instrumentation, equipment reassembly and wrapping of instrument sets, proper use of sterilizers, sonic cleaners and other related equipment and maintaining a clean, safe workplace.

Maintain certification.

Keep accurate records, maintain forms and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Central Processing Supervisor.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Current certification as Central Processing Technician or current certification as O.R. Technician.

If non-certified Central Processing Technician, they must have 18 months to become certified.

Experience in Sterile Processing.Must have working knowledge of steam and sterrad-sterris.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
