Our client, a growing petrochemical company in Houston, Texas is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer for a full time direct position.
Candidate must have 7-10 years experience in I&E and DCS supporting petrochemical manufacturing.
Knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, electrical and analyzer science and technology.
Design techniques and procedures involved in the design and production of equipment.
Knowledge of computer and network hardware and software including applications used in advanced controls, modeling, data historian and PLC and DCS programming. Review P&ID's and spreadsheets.
Knowledge of business and management principles.
Complex problem solving and critical thinking. Operations analysis.
Lead indirect reports. Must be physically fit. Strong communication skills.
60% office work and 40% in the field.
Education: BS in Instrumentation and Engineering or equivilent education, training and experience.
Candidates will be background checked as well as drug and alchohol tested.
