Job summary:
This customer interfacing position conducts consulting engagements with IGT customers, using advanced analytics to identify opportunities for improving operations and marketing. Using available gaming and customer data, this candidate will create detailed reports and recommendations for customers to assist them in optimizing casino operations. The ideal candidate would be considered an expert in gaming analysis, gaming trends and products.

Requirements: · Continually researches, designs and builds innovative analytics solutions for clients.
· Understands and interprets the clients’ current situation, needs and feasible solutions; employs a wide range of complex analytical tools and processes to identify problems and trends in clients’ operations
· Creates and communicates the scope of work for engagements, internally and externally. Completes many highly complex consulting engagements by both interfacing with customer (includes executive level individuals in the organization) and by conducting necessary analysis, determining valid conclusions and making granular recommendations for operational improvement
· Ability to identify and report correlation between game performance and customer attributes, including demographics and play trends
· Designs or participates in presenting the findings and recommendations to customers in a visually appealing manner.
· Understands modern casino marketing analysis techniques, including RFM models, segmentation reinvestment modeling, and relevant player attributes.
· Assists customers in the implementation of recommendations using internal resources.
· Has an in-depth knowledge of the gaming industry competitive practices, machine use, player preferences, IGT and competitors’ products
· Gather, analyze, prepare and validate market and performance data
· Maintain research files, databases and archives
· Conduct advanced in-depth analyses and creates reports such as:
o Market share and competitive analysis
o Player wallet share
o Product mix
o Product trends
o Performance of IGT and competitors’ existing product lines
o Player attributes and KPIs
· Products & technological specialties covered include:
o Statistical modeling and statistical software packages (R, SPSS or similar)
o Modern Analytics and Data Mining techniques(e.g. decision trees, Markov chains, regressions, time series analysis, etc)
o SQL, OLAP and data warehousing techniques
o Optimization techniques and hypothesis testing
Qualifications: · BS in finance, economics, statistics or related business degree with at least five (
5) years progressive experience, preferably in the Gaming industry. · Strong PC skills, expert level on Excel, Access, VBA, PowerPoint. Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization software (such as MicroStrategy or Tableau) are highly desirable.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong interaction skills.
· Business-oriented, analytical thinker; should possess a high degree of initiative.
· Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines while being a team player.
· Self-starter with strong initiative. Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
· Some travel required.
