Jawood is currently seeking a .net/Kofax Developer Analyst for a long term assignment in Austin, Texas.
Work involves determining, documenting, and implementing the appropriate system, software, infrastructure and architectural changes needed to meet legislative mandates, agency goals and system architectural strategic plans.
Work involves establishing strategic plans, goals, and objectives for information systems by developing and implementing policy, guidelines and procedures to ensure secure, reliable, and stable information systems and interfaces
Performs analysis, design, development, environment readiness, migration, implementation and monitoring activities on a variety of applications systems.
Work with software application users to clarify software specifications.
Analyze software requirements to determine and design the appropriate changes to the software.
Work with business analysts, programmers, and software application users to design and deliver secure systems that meet agency standards and business needs.
Conduct reviews and perform testing to verify that the software development follows standards and guidelines and meets the business requirements.
Conduct demonstrations or training sessions on the software changes for software users.
Direct, guide and oversee highly complex information technology systems implementations.

Knowledge and understanding of Kofax, Kofax custom modules, and dotNet.

Minimum Requirements:

8 years of demonstrable experience in System Analysis and Design Techniques
5 years of demonstrable experience working with scanning and imaging technologies
5 years experience designing, coding and testing Visual Studio 9 or higher, Visual Basic .net, VB.NET in a MS-SQL server 2005 environment
3 years experience designing, coding and testing Kofax 7.5 or higher
Preferences:
Certification in Kofax 7.5 or higher
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university
