Specific Job Description
Leads production efforts involving Modification and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services.

Ensures the Safety, Quality, Cost and Schedule performance for assigned area of responsibility.
Accomplishes results through lower level subordinate supervisors and employees.
Manages the staffing levels to achieve financial and performance commitments.
Provides effective customer interface to foster relationships and ensure understanding of customer expectations.
Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives that enhance cost and schedule performance.
Manages development opportunities for employees to allow realization for each employee’s full potential.
Recognizes and rewards superior individual performance and effectively addresses poor performance issues.
Operates with ethics and integrity by dealing honestly and fairly with employees and customers.
Creates a culture that ensures accountability and trust.
Ensures compliance with Company Policies and Procedures.

Standard Job Description
Manages general services, repairs, and overhauls of aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Directs periodic inspections and general overhaul and repairs or modifications requiring replacement and assembly of parts. Consults manufacturers' manuals for specifications and determines feasibility of repair or replacement. Requires FAA aircraft and engine mechanic license.

Security Clearance

Typical Minimums
Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
