The position, located in either Pullman or the Puget Sound area, will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the enrollment funnel. Specifically, the position will recruit students, help prospective students define their educational goals, provide information about academic requirements, work on behalf of prospective students to have transfer credits evaluated, help students complete admissions application and follow up with students to ensure application is complete, and assist with new student issues.

A Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) years of experience directly related to student services. A Master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Demonstrated experience working with students in a higher education student services setting.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and positively in a diverse team environment.
Demonstrated ability to use technology and software applications.
Must have, or be able to obtain at time of hire, a valid unrestricted driver’s license.
Demonstrated experience working with non-traditional students or audiences.
Demonstrated experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds.
Master’s Degree in a related field.
Demonstrated experience in a higher education recruiting.
Demonstrated proficiency using a Customer Relationship Management system.
Demonstrated experience with large and small group presentations.
Demonstrated verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and leadership, including the ability to work independently in multiple roles.
