Job duties included, but are not limited to, the following:Administering the safety program to ensure a safe work environment within the operating facility.Applying electrical / mechanical engineering principles and problem solving techniques to evaluate and resolve electrical / mechanical conditions to maximize operating efficiencies.Utilizing management skills to supervise, direct, and coordinate the efforts of experienced technicians, craftsmen and project planners to repair and maintain electrical / mechanical equipment to keep the operations running at maximum efficiency with minimal interruption. Use technical knowledge and maintenance history of equipment to develop, implement, and maintain industrial High/Medium/Low voltage distribution systems throughout the plant.Performing administrative activities, such as scheduling crews, completing production reports, conducting safety conversations, and compiling other reporting as necessary by the operating facility. Experience in the following areas is required:
Gas Distribution Systems, Purging, Blanking, DOT/PHMSAExperience in the following areas is preferred:
High Pressure Steam System, Boiler Feed Water Treatment, Power Generation operations, Pipe Line operation/ maintenance, Pile Line Safety (including isolation).
Education: Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Technology preferred, and 1 year experience in similar manufacturing environment.Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills are critical. Prior experience in a union environment is a plus
