The primary purpose of this job is to assist in the monitoring, reporting and quality assurance of all enrollment related activities in the Government Plans unit in order to ensure meeting all government contract obligations as well as achieve department objectives. The Enrollment Specialist will also be responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of member information in all systems utilized for/by government contracts in order to minimize member and financial impacts as a result of inconsistent/discrepant/missing data. In order to be successful in this position, the Enrollment Specialist must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as business policies and procedures, government communications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Validate the enrollment activities of the enrollment representatives for correct analysis and completeness against established procedures. Identify discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely correction/resolution is performed.
Assist in the timely and accurate preparation and submission of program/contract required and management reports.
Serve as a backup to unit's day-to-day functions, handling complex or non-routine problems or transactions as required. Respond to telephone inquiries from members and groups in a professional and timely manner and resolve the inquiry or problem.
Work on projects as assigned. When additional resources are necessary to complete the project, work with Supervisor to coordinate the assignment of work to others.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree or two years equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word for standard correspondence.
