you are a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, we have a great opportunity for you to
join the Neonatal Intensive Care team at this leading academic childrens hospital
in the Western U.S. The NNP in this role
is responsible for the delivery of direct patient care to critically ill
newborns and premature infants with complex care needs in this 40 bed Level III
NICU with an ECMO unit. Using their
special training and experience, the nurse practitioner in this role assesses
NICU patients through clinical assessment, evaluation and tests. They develop plans of care, recommend treatment
therapies and prescribe medications appropriate for the patient. They participate in daily rounds and manage
the transfer of patients to/from other units or hospitals.

premier pediatric health care center on the West Coast. With the help of
a healthy endowment and regular professional assistance from the medical
faculty from a nearby major University,this children's hospital has
been delivering quality care to children from around the world since its

MSN from an accredited neonatal nurse practitioner program,
required; active, unencumbered RN and ARNP licensure with prescriptive
authority, required; current NCC national certification as a neonatal nurse
practitioner, required; active DEA registration, required; BLS and Neonatal
Resuscitation Program completion, required; NNP experience in Level II and
Level III NICU and delivery rooms, preferred; PALS certification,
preferred. Current experience in a nurse
practitioner role is strongly preferred.
