Quality & Reliability Engineer
A product Quality Reliability engineer you are responsible for all phases of product development starting from Product proposal, design, qualification, and product manufacturing ramp phases. Based on the business unit you are hired into, products could range from the next generation CPUs and Chipsets to system on chip (SOC) and Solid State Drive (SSD) products.
The primary scope of this job is to perform design reliability verification, reliability modeling, product reliability stresses (burn-in, Lightest, etc.), and data analysis for qualification purposes. Other responsibilities are performing root-cause understanding of issues found during product qual and also working with other functional teams such as Design Engineering, Product Development Engineering, and Manufacturing in order to drive fixes.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience can be obtained through a combination of prior education, current MS course work, projects, research and any relevant prior job/internships.
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or related discipline within the last 18 months at time of hire.
- Experience in system architecture
- Experience in hands-on design of experiments, execution, and data interpretation.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis packages (e.g. JMP or Minitab)
- Prior Intel Internship or Intel Scholarship recipient
