Training Program Manager
The Datacenter Software Training Program Manager will be responsible for the ensuring the successful development, coordination, and delivery of Intel Datacenter software training programs including the management of training resources.
Manage all aspects of training programs from developing course materials, scheduling, delivery (on-line & live), etc. Responsible for ROI on training investments worldwide.
Recruit & train consultant trainers.
Own the quality of technology & content assets of the training program
Evaluate the effectiveness of existing training programs
Maintain and improve the existing training curriculum
Pursue new, effective models for delivering training worldwide
Manage logistics associated with training course planning and delivery
Identifies appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles, nature of training being delivered, audience location, point within the learning process, etc., within the context of business needs and constraints.
Identify training needs to ensure course content, training methodologies, and training materials meet those needs.
Conducts formal training program assessments to identify gaps between learning objectives and learning outcomes. Provides recommendations for and makes changes to curriculum.
Develops and administers tools to measure effectiveness of training programs. Makes recommendations based on these measurements to improve quality of training programs.
Ensures program administration needs are met, to include communications, scheduling, roster management, materials production, facilities coordination, participant tracking, etc
Develops and/or approves content, methods, and materials for staff. Delegates assignments to subordinate managers.
Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements. Erroneous decisions will result in delays in schedules and/or operations, and may jeopardize overall business activities.
Interacts with various levels of management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Willingness to travel up to 75%
Database, Datawarehousing, Application Software knowledge
Project management experience
Experience managing teams of trainers or consultants. Experience running training as a business.
