We currently have an opportunity for Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to evaluate , recommend and implement improvements in the areas of machining processes, facilities, production processes, production efficiency and other areas of manufacturing costs that support the objectives outlined by Management.
Supervise allocation of space within the plant and design of tools to achieve efficient arrangement of workflow and materials handling; support fabrication and assembly operations and service requirements, ensuring utilization of economical manufacturing methods; coordinate cost reduction efforts; direct and coordinate procurement and installation of manufacturing equipment; supervise manufacturing engineering and facilities functions; direct preparation of capital expenditure proposals for Corporate approval; coordinate strategy to enhance energy conservation lead PACCAR Production System initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
This position may be a fit for you if you have f ive (5) years of progressively complex industrial and plant engineering assignments; previous experience in a machining environment desired.
Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to successfully manage others; strong analytical ability; abiity to work within deadlines to achieve goals.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
