Manages the daily operations and resources of medical office/practice site(s) to ensure delivery of high quality, cost-effective care.
2 years of demonstrated successful supervisory or management experience
3-5 years medical office experience
Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience
Communicates organizational information to all staff on a regular and timely basis.
Maintains a safe environment for staff (and patients) based upon EOC program.
Responsible for human resource management of staff including hiring, firing, evaluating, developing and compensating. Assists staff and physicians through change processes.
Implements quality improvement activities and maintains a high level of both service and quality.
Coordinates the daily work of team members in work group(s) to ensure policy compliance, smooth technical operations, quality management and customer satisfaction.
Develops, implements and continuously improves provider schedules and resource tools for daily activities to promote access, service and continued growth of the practice.
Takes responsibility for understanding all policies and procedures of system and organization. Informs employees and physicians of such and communicates expectations for adherence.
Oversees the effective purchase of supplies, coordinates with Accounts Payable, monitors expenses to budget, and identifies opportunities for savings.
Creates a positive and team oriented environment with which employees feel a sense of belonging and patients feel welcome.
Assesses and develops, in conjunction with the Director, new business opportunities, specific project development work including marketing and promotional activities.
