InfoZen, a growing mid-size Information Technology company serving the Federal Government, is looking for an IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will also serve as a Cloud Engineer supporting federal programs such as our NASA Web Services Contract.
Summary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides a secure environment, adopt and leverage new technologies and excellent services at a reduced cost
Establishes cloud infrastructure – IaaS, PaaS and SaaS for public websites
Provides hybrid cloud services for private/internal websites and applications
Provides expert level technical direction
Plans, architects, and implements the design, development, procurement, installation and/or support for complex, enterprise-level IT, network, security, and communications systems in a cloud environment (private, public, community, hybrid)
Directs analysis of situations that require in-depth evaluation of various technical factors. Able to independently perform task level management, and provides work leadership and training to lower level engineers
Keeps current on leading and innovative technologies
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
Expert knowledge of multiple IT areas including, but not limited to LAN/WAN networks, voice communications, computing platforms, systems security, quality assurance, and applications including enterprise architecture, programming languages and tools, and databases
Ability to work with minimal management
Experience providing technical leadership to other technical staff

Amazon Web Services, AWS Engineering, Virtual Machine, Network Integration, Capacity Planning, Performance Analysis, Cloud computing, Cloud Security models, Cloud provisioning, Cloud migration, Content Management Systems (CMS), Cloud engineering, Cloud infrastructure, Cloud storage, Load balancing .
BA/BS degree; minimum of 10 years’ experience.
