I)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

(What are the end results or objectives of this position?)

1.

Prioritize guest deliveries, PM Maintenance, and Housekeeping requests as reported by Front Desk staff.

2.

Maintain supplies and cleanliness of offices.

3.

Maintain delivery vehicle gas and fluid levels.

Advise Front Office Manager of special vehicle needs.

II)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(What duties are required for the position to exist?)

1.

Replenish Front Office supplies as needed.

2.

Retrieve and deliver items from mail trays located at The Shops at Wailea and warehouse areas.

3.

Deliver and pick-up rollaways, cribs, etc.

4.

See Houseman tray for Village Housekeepers.

5.

Stock van as needed.

6.

Pick-up/deliver mail to Post Office.

7.

Respond to all calls for guest services.

8.

Make deliveries to guests, i.e. mail, faxes, gifts, etc.

9.

Clean offices.

10.

Close and lock office.

Leave property with Front Desk Agent.

III)

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Responsibilities/important duties performed occasionally or in addition to the essential duties of the position.)

1.

Serves as a representative of Destination Resorts Hawaii, displaying courtesy and Aloha to all owners and guests through positive action and attitude.

2.

Promote safe work practices, conditions, and working environment.

3.

Must be willing to work varied shifts with alternating days and times.

4.

Must be bondable with valid

Hawaii

driver’s license and insurable within the DRH system.

A valid

Hawaii

State

driver’s license is an employment requirement.

5.

Must be physically capable of performing all aspects of the position as outlined.

6.

Maintain the highest performance and quality standards.

7.

Maintain close contact with Front Office and Administration.

8.

Generate a team environment of cooperation and support, maintaining clear communication avenues with supervisors and staff members.

9.

Fulfill all job responsibilities and any additionally assigned tasks deemed necessary by the Front Office Manager, Operations Directors, Rental Managers, or General Manager/Administration.

10.

Adhere to all applicable employee guidelines or standards set forth in the Lowe/DRH Employee Handbook and Policies.

These include but are not limited to attendance, uniforms, general performance, vacation, holiday, and sick leave.

11.

Ensure that assigned vehicles are kept clean on a daily basis and inspected for defects prior to daily use.

12.

Housemen must operate vehicles safely and within legal limits.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be capable of walking 100 yards.

2.

Must be capable of lifting 30 pounds frequently; 75 pounds infrequently.

3.

Must be able to operate the following equipment:
All DRH vehicles.
