Staff VP Enterprise Program Management Office Government Contracting

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the creation, implementation, and integration of programs, policies, and procedures for NGS. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Manages the enterprise program management office, ensures that all contractually required deliverables from transition plans to Quality Assurance programs are delivered and met, develops and maintains client relationships and resolves contract level client questions and concerns.

Leads the initiation and execution of high-priority programs/projects. Identifies and manages risks to ensure successful completion of programs/projects measured in terms of budget, scope and schedule.

Standardizes processes, methodologies, project management practices and tools across the enterprise.

Drives continuous improvement of processes and project management practices and utilizes a risk management process that reduces the number of crisis situations.

Ensures successful administration of contract(s) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines and monitors and validates the program budget.

Organizes resources from multiple states and functions and forms a developing EPMO structure that continues to evolve based upon the changing needs of the contract along with providing leadership and direction to multiple levels of management.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Prefer Indianapolis, IN location but open to Harrisburg, PA, Portland, ME, Louisville, KY Milwaukee WI, Syracuse NY and Baltimore MD

Job Qualifications

Requires BS/BA degree; 10+ years related Federal contracting operations experience; 3-5 years manager experience in managing complex systems, work flow processes and associates; 4+ years of related work experience in lieu of the master’s degree; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Master’s Degree preferred. Ability to travel required.
