The role: Hardware, Computer-Aided Design / Printed Circuit Board (CAD/PCB) Designer Hardware, CAD/PCB Designer: You are a highly motivated CAD/PCB Designer, skilled in PCB development for next generation Platforms Hardware development. The CAD/PCB Designer will work with Hardware designers and PCB layout engineers throughout the full product development life-cycle.
The CAD/PCB Designer needs to have experience working on high speed board designs, familiarity with CAD tools and board life cycle. You will work as an integral part of the Hardware Development team, interfacing with external fabricators/vendors to apply state of the art industry standards, tools and technologies. Responsibilities: Design Printed Circuit Boards, outline and layer setup; component placement and signal routing Work with hardware engineers, PCB designers and fabricators for development and sustaining of actual products. Interface with board fabrication vendor to select and use correct impedance rules, DFM and DFT rulesets.

Remain on top of industry standards and technologies, to integrate and update tools, as appropriate. Requirements: BS in Electronics preferred, or equivalent experience; MS a plus. At least 5 years of CAD/PCB Design and Layout experience; Proficient with Cadence Allegro tools Experienced with state of the art PCB design tools and methodology. Must be proficient with High speed board design/layout, familiar with high density BGA's, blind and buried via's.

Familiarity with Cadence Concept/Allegro tools, all phases of hardware development including: schematic entry, manually generated constraints and/or understand the requirements of the constraints, and board layout. Experience with mechanical design a plus. A self-starter, highly motivated, with excellent organizational skills, and must have excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
