Provide products and services to potential and existing customers in a professional manner. Develop long-standing and mutually beneficial banking relationships first through the process of profiling and assessing the customer's needs, then through the sale of consumer loans, deposit and investment accounts and other banking services to meet or exceed assigned monthly goals. Readily refer prospects and customers to bank officers or departments for additional services and products. Responsible for the financial relationships of assigned Signature Banking customer portfolio. Consult with customers to maximize their service usage and investment opportunities. Assist supervisor with the execution of any and all in-branch promotions
Greet and assist potential and existing customers who are seeking information pertaining to banking services. Identify and respond to sales opportunities that arise from both customer inquiries and complaints.
Proactively assess clients' financial information by profiling to determine total current and future financial needs. Summarize and present action plan to discuss the appropriate product and service options. Recommend, present and sell appropriate products and services in accordance with established action plan.
Refer clients as necessary to the appropriate banker or department to cross-sell additional services or products in accordance with established profile action plan.
Meet or exceed assigned sales activity goals by executing the recommended sales and service tools and techniques of the Extreme Sales & Service process.
Adhere to and perform the required sales and service skills of the Star Review program.
Manage and maintain Signature Banking portfolio assigned by the Branch Manager. Responsible for the portfolio growth and profitability as outlined. Actively consult with customers to update profiles and make them aware of new products and changes in the financial industry which would affect them.
Assure proper handling of service requests and resolution of customer problems.
Explain service features including service charges, interest rates, etc. Open new accounts in compliance with established policies and procedures. Prepare all paperwork and assist the customer in signing of documents necessary to process new accounts. Ensure that the account has been set up properly and that the accurate sales credit was recorded. Assist in the maintenance of internal customer records.
Interview consumer loan applicants and answer basic questions on consumer loan applications. Review applications for completeness and forward documents to consumer loan center for processing.
This position typically requires 3+ years of banking operations/customer services and 2+ years of direct work experience in consumer financial products. Has general working knowledge of all consumer products.
