This position is located on the C. M. Tucker Campus at 2200 Harden Street.
Serves as a role model for CNA Staff, orientating , developing, teaching and evaluating CNA Staff. Coordinates restorative programs, recommending residents for evaluation, scheduling activities, monitoring documentation and follow-up for selected residents. Plans and evaluates performance of selected CNAs.
Minimum and Additional Requirements:
Experience in a relevant program area.
NOTE: THESE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS ARE DESIRABLE, BUT NOT MANDATORY, FOR APPLICANTS TO BE CONSIDERED QUALIFIED FOR THE POSITION.
Must be certified as a nursing assistant with DHEC registration, high school diploma and two (20 years experience preferred; 10th grade completion and three (3) years experience required. Knowledge of priniciples and practices of gero-psychiatric nursing. Restorative nursing training preferred. Excellent communication skills, ability to teach, direct and evaluate other staff.
