Assistant Professor of Counseling -Commerce
Major/Essential Duties of Job
Teach counseling courses; supervise practicum/internship students; advise students and supervise doctoral dissertations; develop a scholarly agenda; publish regularly in professional journals; and provide service to the Department, University and the profession. Other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in counseling or closely related field and evidence of accomplishments or strong potential for success in teaching, research, and service. Faculty expectations include collegiality and mentoring of students. Requires the ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Education and Experience
Graduate of or teaching experience in a CACREP-accredited program and formal training and experience in supervision of counselors or counselors-in-training.
