The University of St. Thomas, Department of Public Safety and Parking Services, seeks an on call Public Safety Dispatcher. Duties include monitor alarms, answer phones, dispatch Public Safety personnel by radio in response to calls, maintain records and daily activity logs, and assist with special projects as directed by Public Safety Manager. This position will require applicants to work non-traditional hours, including overnight shifts and weekends.
Qualifications include combination of education and/or relevant experience to total 2 years required, understanding of law enforcement and legal issues that impact private security, and verbal and written communication skills. Campus law enforcement experience preferred.
