This full time position is located at 901 West Park Avenue Ocean, NJ 07712
Supervises all Customer Service Representatives in the Branch office.
Directs the transaction activities of CSRs ensuring the seamless, efficient delivery of teller banking services.
Handles the staffing, counseling, and performance management of all CSRs.
Assures balancing guidelines, compliance and security are not compromised.
Reports to the CBAM or CSM.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts audits on a regular monthly basis and more frequently if needed.
Monitors cash-on-hand, drawer limits, check cashing guidelines and security procedures.
Counsels CSRs, prepares disciplinary notices, writes and delivers performance appraisals.
Ensures that all Branch work is accurate before it leaves the Branch.
Ensures that all CSRs are fully trained and acclimated to their jobs.
Handling over/short statuses as well as ensuring compliance to policies and procedures in areas such as check cashing account withdrawals, etc.
Helps reconcile Branch settlement differences.
Manages sales referral goals on an individual basis as well as for the team.
Manages the Branch in the absence of the CBO as directed.
Supervising the teller line and all platform operations.
Works with CSRs to be sure that policies and procedures are understood and followed.
HS Graduate or Equivalent.
Internal: At least twelve months as a CSR or twelve months as a PBR with prior teller experience.
External: At least twelve months as a teller supervisor preferably in a POD environment.
Builds a professional environment on the CSR line and instills a customer service mind-set in tellers.
Demonstrates a general working knowledge of the Banks products and services.
Exhibits a strong knowledge of all teller policies and procedures.
Serves as the role model for delivering personal world class service and demands the same from the CSR staff.
Continually works to raise the level of service provided and best practices.
Understands check cashing procedures and CSR standards and assures that the CSR staff is performing accordingly.
Uses good judgment in applying procedures and granting exceptions balancing the need for compliance and good customer service.
