RCVM Change Coordinator (2357) (Job Number: 321455)
The Release Control Validation Management (RCVM) Change Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and support of implementing release and change management processes, procedures as well as the support of Change Control across the MDA. Position is in support of the JRDC program at Schriever AFB, CO or HSV, AL.
RCVM Change Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight of Change Management activities in support of the MDA Admin Genser Services. The Change Coordinator provides leadership and process knowledge in support of cross functional and departmental teams to ensure that releases and changes are complete and ready for implementation. The RCVM Change Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with peers and customers to prepare for Change Advisory Board (CAB) and other change boards. The Change Coordinator will be responsible for the creation of reports on change and releases to all levels of Government and Contract Management throughout the lifecycle of the change/release. RCVM Change Coordinator will represent the impacts and ramifications of changes and impact to the Infrastructure and is responsible for ensuring all records are properly recorded and closed. Shift work may be required to support release windows. RCVM Change Coordinator is also responsible for supporting the continued development and implementation of Change and Release processes and procedures in compliance with ITIL framework.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and 4 years experience in an Information Technology environment. Familiarity with project planning. Understanding of ITIL Release and Deployment Processes and Change Management Processes with ITIL V3 certification. Excellent facilitation, organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment. Candidate must have or posses the ability to obtain a security+ certification within 60 days of hire. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance, quality control and associated testing methodologies. Technical background in System Administration, Network, or Software Development. ITIL V3 RCV certification.
