Position Description:
This position reports directly to the President of SKAN US. This individual will lead SKAN US’s service organization. Position requires experience to establish and maintain all service operation/logistics, and to implement key cGMP quality control procedures at SKAN US’s new Raleigh facility. This director will have managerial responsibility over several field based service technicians, and a small administrative staff in Raleigh. The position has direct P & L responsibility, requires solid customer relationship building skills and the ability to identify business development opportunities to meet the strategic growth objectives of the SKAN US Service Organization. The ability to travel throughout North America and to our parent company in Central Europe is required.

Key criteria for this position:
Understanding of current GMP standards related to pharmaceutical drug production.

Experience in managing service organization logistics, reports, administrative structure, parts distribution, and QC procedures required under SAP.

Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.

Documented past experience growing a customer focused service organization while maintaining both key sales and margin expectations.

Familiarity with providing validation services on process equipment – detailed contract proposals, logistics, cost structure, and all documentation requirements.

Proven track record establishing a business plan that achieves overall growth objectives and customer satisfaction on key P & L measurement criteria.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum four year degree is required. Advanced engineering or similar technical degree is preferred.

Five years’ experience in a managerial role with a technically oriented service organization.

Excellent computer skills, familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards, inventory management systems (SAP background is preferred).
