Innovative Dining Group operates many of the most popular and successful restaurants and lounges in Los Angeles and beyond including Sushi Roku, BOA Steakhouse, Katana, and Robata Bar. Other concepts include the modern California bistro Delphine and two adjacent lounges in the W Hollywood, Station Hollywood and the Living Room. The company also operates Sushi Roku locations in Las Vegas and Scottsdale, AZ. Chi Lin is the newest addition to IDG’s portfolio –opening in May 2013, following the neighboring RivaBella, B Grill in Terminal 7 of LAX and Downtown Los Angeles’s Soleto in July 2012. All of IDG’s venues reflect bold, modern interpretations of traditional concepts, reflective of the company’s dynamic partners.

IDG has an immediate need for an experienced Restaurant Purchasing and Inventory Manager. The ideal candidate must have experience in the Food & Beverage business, specifically in the areas of purchasing, sourcing and inventory management. The company is rolling out the use of Compeat software in multiple locations and the candidate would ideally have experience with this program, or other similar purchasing and inventory software for the Food & Beverage business. A strong technical background and capacity, including multiple software platforms and advanced excel skills is required. Candidate should have experience in effectively communicating with all levels, such as restaurant and culinary staff, as well as corporate staff and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
The Inventory and Purchasing Manager will be in charge of implementing and executing the Compeat restaurant management software in test locations and then across additional locations Facilitating the accuracy of all recipes and ingredients of each menu into the system Partnering with vendors, suppliers and culinary staff on ordering processes for all food and beverage purchases Developing reports and providing analytical support of the Cost of Goods of Food and Beverages at each location including error checking and variance analysis Track prices of key commodities, and help negotiate with key suppliers, and to follow up over time to ensure all commitments from suppliers have been delivered Develop processes and oversee the Accounts Payable function of the systems to ensure seamless and efficient system in place for the payments of all purchases Assisting various partners with non-food and unique or one-time purchased items Ad hoc projects Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required
At least 2 years’ experience directly in a Food and Beverage environment, with experience specifically in the area of purchasing or inventory Experience implementing an inventory and purchasing system in a food and beverage environment is required. Experience with Compeat software a plus Solid understanding of finance and accounting Strong Microsoft Excel skills Detail-oriented and accurate Excellent written, verbal and follow-up skills Team player with ability to facilitate results through and with others in the organization
Position may require the ability to travel to restaurants around the Los Angeles on a regular basis, and potentially to locations outside of Los Angeles. Position may require the ability to work in busy or confined spaces in a restaurant facility and the lifting or moving of some items while working on location.
