Responsible for achieving the U.S Government and International Programs cost, schedule, quality and technical performance requirements.
Provide overall leadership responsibility to support business development, acquisition, technical objectives, aircraft development and procurement, assembly and flight acceptance testing associated with the delivery commitments for both U.S Government and International Naval Hawk Programs.
Act as the primary interface to the Program Director, NAVAIR/PMA-299 and Sikorsky Aircraft management teams to include program managers, program integrator, control account managers, program planning and control managers, finance managers and supply chain/operations managers.
Development and approval responsibilities for all program requirements, work statements, budgets, schedules and risk management plans.
Develop, review and approve project metrics, including EVMS, COS, Cost HIAT tickets, to track project health, EACs and provide visibility to program and executive management
Coordinate and deliver project reviews, champion customer initiatives, and other efforts required to maintain overall program support.
The Deputy Program Manager will have P&L responsibility, to include improve profitability, for both US Domestic and International Naval Hawk programs.
Ensures Sikorsky works within the scope of the contract. Any deviations or requests for changes that are out of scope are documented with an appropriate contract change with funding and/or schedule relief.
BA/BS Degree, MBA/MS preferred
10-15 yrs experience in Program Engineering and/or Program management with financial, earned value and critical path management experience preferred.
Prior supervisory experience
Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to interact effectively with executive and flag officer level external and internal customers.
Reports directly to the Naval Hawk Program Director
