We are currently looking for an Electrician to work at our Kentwood, MI facility.

The Role

Performs and has primary responsibility for routine and emergency electrical maintenance on all machines and equipment, diagnoses source of problems or potential problems, and maintains or repairs as needed. May design, build, install, and maintain high and low voltage electrical services and equipment.

This is a 2nd shift position. Flexing work schedule and overtime may be required including weekends and/or holidays per business demands.

Requires ability to work in elevated positions (from lifts, etc.).

Requires ability to lift/move product weighing up to 60 pounds with assistance.

Requires the ability to work in elevated positions (from lifts, etc.).

Requires current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requires job seeker to be able to work in Kentwood, MI without relocation assistance.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

State of Michigan license for electrical work required.

Eight years documented experience in trade or certificate of completion of four year apprentice program required.

Other Requirements

Must have a strong mechanical/ electrical aptitude.

Must have electrical hand tools required by craft.

Must obtain and maintain and valid power industrial truck operator (Hi-Lo) permit and State of Michigan Drivers License.

Programmable controller experience required (Rockwell software).

PC and keyboard/mouse skills required.

Must have the ability to read and interpret Electrical CAD data.

Diagnoses electrical situations or problems; plans, schedules, and performs preventative maintenance for electrical systems; and makes repairs or improvements to machines and equipment as required to ensure and maintain clean, safe, and productive work environment.

Must be able to analyze and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in equipment.
