Channel Operations Specialist

This position is an integral part of the Channel Operations Team working with our distributor partners and cross-functional internal teams that also interact with our distributors.
Today the role of this individual is to:

Oversee purchasing and invoice processing for Channel Development in a timely fashion. (20%)

Serve as the clerical support for distributor and outside association events. This activity includes producing, printing and ordering various meeting materials, shipping materials to the meeting sites, and ensuring that event sponsorships and the necessary materials for those sponsorships are handled accurately and on a timely basis. May also travel as member of SE meeting coordination team to assist with offsite meetings. (20%)

Serve as the lead in Channel Operations for operations-related communication to the SE field team and distributors. This position interacts with Internal Communication, Channel Marketing, and the Customer Care teams to ensure communication is delivered to internal and external audiences via the appropriate media. (20%)

Assume miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned by Channel Business Services Manager or Channel Operations Director. (20%)

Scan all distributor agreements and supporting paperwork to convert all existing hard copy files into electronic files by the end of 2014. (10%)

Update and maintain the Channel Operations Intranet Website, working with the SE field and other teams to ensure information on the site is applicable and up to date. (5%)

Work with external vendor to ensure elements of our Distributor Recognition Program (for new and existing distributors) are communicated to the respective SE field teams and the distributors themselves, and that plaques and gifts are engraved correctly and delivered on time. (2.5%)

Coordinate the Government Reseller Waiver process; setting up new waivers once approved by the necessary parties, issuing paperwork, communicating with the field when waivers expire, and keeping a record of all current waivers. (2.5%)

Valuable Skills/Experience: Superior customer service skills, attention to detail, communication including writing skills and highly professional interaction with field and distributors by e-mail and phone, experience using Lotus Notes or other e-mail system, experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Prior professional office experience a plus.

Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma
