The Stress Engineer role will be focused on providing stress analysis supporting several major Nacelle and Thrust Reverser production programs at the GE Aviation Systems Middle River Site. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major commercial programs within the GE Aviation Systems business.

Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
  • Execute the stress analysis of components for your assigned work package
  • Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with Engineering policies and procedures
  • Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments within your assigned work package
  • Expand existing and develop new stress analysis skills through mentoring, on the job training and formal learning

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited University or College ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

  • Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools, and systems
  • Knowledge of aircraft production methods, processes and repair
