The world’s leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for an Operations Administrator . As an Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks required to ensure that the nuclear security operation is properly staffed, adhere to regulatory requirements for work hour compliance, and ensure operational management for financial accountability of labor expenses through electronic time and attendance application interfaces. This position performs daily quality reviews of shift nuclear operations documentation to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance and record retention. The Operations Administrator performs employee briefing and counseling for personnel matters including disciplinary action, leaves of absence, union grievances, work-related injuries, Employee Review Boards (ERB), absentee reporting and ensures proper documentation, notification and record retention of these transactions. This position will assist in recruiting, hiring, promotions processes, fact-finding for investigation, Corrective Action Program (CAP) products, and other operational tasks as directed.

Role Responsibility:
Ensure overall contract and regulatory compliance to ensure personnel meet qualifications and certifications for duty assignment
Maintain database entries, monitor compliance in employee work hour fatigue tracking software (EmpCenter) and provide notification to preclude regulatory violations
Perform daily review and interface for accurate job coding of shift logs for labor hours charged to multiple jobs and special projects including performing override functions in electronic time and attendance software
Perform daily quality review of shift operational documentation including ensuring accuracy, required signatures, and maintain timely filing
Perform administrative functions including employee and staff communication, documentation preparation, notification, and record retention of personnel matters including disciplinary action, absentee reporting, leaves of absence, union grievances, work-related injuries, and Employee Review Boards
Possess knowledge, track and report trends and causes of budget variances relating to labor expenses associated with multiple jobs, and special projects for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual interface with customer financial and security management personnel
Assist in recruitment and hiring process, review board, performance reviews and promotion processes
Assist in fact-finding for investigations, Correction Action Program products, and operational trending and reporting functions
Interface with company and customer staff to manage operational and site requirements
Make presentations at operational briefings and budgetary meetings
Maintain working knowledge and qualifications to support Operations Coordinator, and other designated key staff members during periods of absence


Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

Minimum of three (3) years successful experience in personnel supervision
Prior work experience in payroll, billing, accounting or a related field
Excellent skills in mathematics, reading comprehension, and oral and written communication
Work history to include demonstration of strong diplomacy skills and sensitivity protocol
Demonstrated school or work experience utilizing basic marketing, business, or computer presentation skills Skills Required

Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Must not use illegal drugs. Must be able to pass a drug test with negative results (except when undergoing documented medical treatment).
Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Office, minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures
