As our Account Manager, Residential & Commercial Group, based from your home office in the Northeastern or Mid-Atlantic US, you will drive new business development as well as maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts for our racking product offerings in the distributed residential and commercial market segments. Traveling approximately 40-80% to develop relationships and close new deals, you will aggressively pursue and rapidly qualify leads to verify interest and advance the sales process. Your self-starting capabilities to build a strong flow of new business, develop a pipeline of opportunities and manage these opportunities all the way through the entire sales process will be paramount to your ability to thrive in this role. Additionally, a supreme level of comfort relating to and providing demonstrations to technical professionals and engineers will be the critical component to your client-interfacing success. A calm and detail-oriented nature to explain specs will go a long way to instantly establishing your credibility to the customer base. Similarly, your industry or product-specific acumen with energy, construction, electrical or other technical manufactured goods will allow you to seamlessly maneuver within our sector, particularly with assigned accounts, as well as to accelerate growth by effectively engaging multiple decision makers and influencers at all levels of client and prospect organizations. Any prior experience working within a distribution model and interfacing with resellers will put you a step ahead and allow you to hit the ground in full stride. You will also use your strong communications skills to develop and deliver presentations, RFP’s and to contribute information needed for ongoing customer support and growth. Your ability to be a team-player and thrive in a collaborative environment will be imperative for success.
