Curriculum Development Coordinator
One of the fastest growing Childcare Operators has an opening for a dynamic, future-thinking Curriculum Development Coordinator to design (birth - 8 years of age), implement and write our curriculum and enrichment programs. Core responsibilities include leadership of the curriculum training and development/assessment process and implementation of research-based practices. This person must have classroom experience and be familiar with age appropriate practices. The Curriculum Development Coordinator must have the ability to demonstrate a knowledge of best practices for early learners. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation). Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong and effective administrative, managerial and organizational skills with experience in InDesign and Interactive Whiteboards. Successful candidate will be required to hold training classes to ensure proper implementation and follow through of the company's curriculum.
Our programs include Phonics, Summer Camp, Dance, Fitness, Yoga, Science, Music, Theater and Math. The right candidate will write the curriculum for children ages birth - 8yrs of age. Candidate must be enthusiastic and have a love for working with children. Must be willing to travel.
Must have a background in Early Childhood Education. Master’s in Curriculum Development with a concentration in Early Childhood preferred.
