Overview :
Manage Wolverine Brand’s marketing with trade partners to promote and enhance the continued growth, success and relationship between the company, trade partners and retailers.

Responsibilities :
Retail Trade Management:
Manage the development and execution of marketing communications to support new product introductions for sales meetings and trade shows.
Develop, execute and manage programs for key retail partners and distribution channels.
Develop and execute advertising programs for retailers.
Leverage ad plan funding to build awareness and drive sales at retail
Review ad plan submissions for pre-approval and provide approval of claims.
Monitor ad plan usage and work with sales to generate dealer/regional report with fund status at the end of each period.
Manage marketing budget related to retail programs including shop in shops, special events and ad plans.
Monitor effectiveness of programs, shop-in-shops and promotional/events along with ROI.
Preparation and tracking of budget proposals.

Brand Communications for Retail:
Lead development of marketing communications, point of sale and displays.
Oversee marketing resource inventory (i.e. point of purchase displays, shoe care products, catalogs, and communications materials) for the sales force and retail customers.
Track marketing programs (i.e. sell-in programs, shop-in-shops, and promotions) reporting program status to marketing and sales teams.

General Marketing:
Coordinate execution of special events including trade shows and sales meetings.
Assist in coordination of technical information, advertising, supplies/samples for shipment to provide updated materials and information in a cost effective manner.
Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in marketing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Proficiency with personal computers
Travel required
