GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:|
The Marketing Intern will support Marketing Department. The intern will assist the director with a variety of projects including account/vendor management, special events, marketing collateral and other tasks as needed. This internship is M-F the times vary but not to exceed 40 hours per week.
Assist the Director of Marketing with the following tasks (but not limited to):
Communicate with various vendors on projects.
Communicate with various internal customers on projects.
Perform research on vendors in various markets.
Social Media and Public Relations Efforts
Update Facebook and Company Blog as needed.
Assist PR Specialists on various projects.
Special Projects and Events
Assist various departments on various special events, both internal and external
Prepare and send out materials needed.
Communication and follow up.
Participate in conference calls and meetings as needed.
Research special events for promotional opportunities.
Assist Director of Marketing with Basic Graphic Design and Collateral
Work with various departments to assess project needs.
Use Adobe Creative Suites to update and create various materials.
Provide proofreading and editing.
Print and collate materials as needed.
Assist with Marketing Analysis
Summarize projects to date and include associated costs.
Assist with Company Store
Work with vendor to ensure select items are visible on company store.
Work with Marketing and Communications specialist to ensure all information is available on RV net.
Create internal communication pieces.
Organize Marketing files on Directors local drive and companies shared drive.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Pursuit of college degree in business, Marketing or other related field.
One year of administrative experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft office required.
Must ave excellent internet navigation skills and data entry skills.
Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people.
Experience supporting multiple managers/supervisors.
Must possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to read, interpret and edit documents.
Demonstrates the ability to problem solve.
Detail oriented with ability to juggle multiple tasks while delivering results under appropriate timelines.
