Summary Create and document Standard Operating Procedures Memoranda design documents requirements documents and email notifications A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected and the position requires knowledge of SharePoint and other web based document technologies Assist users in the development of a wide range of documents types including Word Power Point HTML as well as the establishment and configuration of SharePoint sites and lists Essential Duties and Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position Meet with support staff to gain understanding of application database and web development and define the scope of documentation required Create product instructions reference and maintenance manuals articles project proposals training materials technical reports and Web pages Inspect and evaluate the quality of products prior to delivery to customer to include the structure and content spelling rules of composition and grammar Update documentation of system specifications database definitionspecifications fieldsite enduser manuals Standard Operating Procedures full online help and internet version as needed or requested Follow standards and templates according to contract requirements Develop new SharePoint sites and lists or provide users with assistance in modifying existing sites and lists Other duties may be assigned to meet operationalbusiness needs Supervision This position does not have formal supervisory responsibilities Education andor Experience To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill andor ability required Bachelors Degree with three years of general technical writing experience to include experience in developing computer system and programming documentation and operations manuals Additional relevant experience may be substituted for formal education Computer Skills Experience operating personal computers and associated required software Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Word Power Point Excel and Access Certificates Licenses Registrations NA Clearance Must have the ability to pass a background investigation (NAC and
