The Jones Eye Institute (JEI) is searching for a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal specialist at the Asst/Assoc/Full Professor level. The Institute is a nine-story, state-of-the-art building on the campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, which was recently identified as the best small city in America by a major publication.

JEI offers the opportunity to teach, perform research and build an excellent university-based clinical and surgical practice. Facilities include 60 eye lanes, 4 dedicated operating rooms, a 10,000 sq. ft. basic science research laboratory, retinal and ocular genetics center, eye bank and fully accredited OMT program. Additional facilities are provided at Arkansas Children†s Hospital and the John L McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital. All subspecialties are represented by our 17 full-time faculty, 3 part-time faculty, 4 PhD researchers and 9 residents. Base salary guarantee with productivity incentive plan and excellent fringe benefits.
