Senior PDE TD/DFx Engineer




Job Description: Responsible for leading path finding activities for testability of complex System on a Chip designs at 14nm and below CMOS fabrication technologies. Will be part of a Product Development Technology Development team working closely with Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, and offshore package assembly and high volume test groups. Will also use VLSI Automated Test equipment to debug first silicon, and performance characterize new products by writing tests for simulation, and conversion. Extensive experience with ATE testers is a must. Candidates with mixed-signal experience (DACs and ADCs, analog circuits), High speed I/O experience, and large logic designs are highly preferred. Will directly work with other path finding groups across the corporation in new product planning, manufacturing capabilities, gap analysis, and wafer sort and unit test solutions to achieve low costs and high yields for SoC devices.


Minimum Requirements:
Must have a BS and MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Must have 10 years of hands on experience with ATE testing of semiconductors

Must have at least 5 years hands on experience with all major DFt systems for: Logic, Memory, and I/O testing

Must have good verbal and written communications in English

Preferred requirements:
Have at least 2 years of experience testing analog or mixed-signal IP blocks on an ATE machine or bench

Have had experience selecting ATE capabilities for new products and introducing them into High Volume Mfg.

Have been trained in Structured Problem Solving

Have hands on experience in writing tests for RTL, and converting RTL files to ATE tester source files

Have written scripts in Perl or other scripting languages
