Position Summary
The Sr. Telecom Engineer is responsible for the research, development, design, implementation, monitoring, and ongoing administration and support of telecommunication systems at all Ohio Health locations, including PBX, IP Telephony, Voicemail, etc.

Minimum Qualifications
Education, Credentials, Licenses: Associate Degree from technical school or equivalent work experience.

Specialized Knowledge: Strong knowledge of traditional PBX systems as well as IP based telephony systems. Experienced with VOIP deployments.

Kind and Length of Experience: 5 – 7 years Telecom Experience
2 – 3 years IP Telephony experience

Education, Credentials, Licenses: Bachelor Degree preferred. Appropriate Industry Certifications (Nortel, Avaya, Cisco)

Specialized Knowledge: IP Networking experience (Switch, Router, Lan/Wan), Unix/Linux and Windows server administration
