Founded in 1921, Straub Clinic & Hospital is a fully integrated nonprofit health care system with a 159-bed tertiary care hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai‘i. The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effective medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care.

We are looking for someone with remarkable administrative and operational talent to be our next Coordinator of Office Operations. You will be responsible for overall office support in assigned inpatient and/or outpatient departments, coordinating all aspects of office management and making routine administrative decisions for day-to-day operations. These include the coordination of outpatient scheduling, clerical and receptionist activities, billing, acting as a liaison between staff and various insurance companies, record keeping, accounting and customer service activities. You will also implement marketing programs to enhance referrals and overall performance for assigned ambulatory clinics. The ideal candidate is innovative and productive, has excellent communication and planning skills, enjoys working with others in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere and shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
