Under supervision of more senior contracts professionals, handles routine or standard contract agreements and related documentation in accordance with established contract policies and procedures. Interacts with other contract professionals and business unit staff; cross-functional project teams; entry to mid-level customer and supplier associates.
Working with senior contracts staff, assists with reviews of solicitations and prepares routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications for signature by more senior contract staff.
Working with senior contracts staff, may draft and negotiate simple contractual instruments commensurate with experience.
Prepares routine correspondence, negotiation memos, and contract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal for review of senior contracts staff.
Prepares, organizes and maintains contract records and files documenting contract performance and compliance.
May conduct research to support contract audit and/ or facilitate business unit contracting trends.
Assists with contract closeout activities.
Assists other contract professionals in working with internal or external business teams on issues and developments relative to assigned contracts.
Bachelors degree desired plus 0-2 years general business or equivalent related work experience is required. Basic working knowledge of contracting concepts, applicable government contract law is preferred Must have strong analytical and communication skills.
