We develop smart customer-oriented solutions for integrated entertainment, navigation, telematics and driver assistance functions in the Original Equipment business. In this context, we use our specific system integration skills to further expand our leadership position in this area. Be part of an innovative team located in Silicon Valleys heart. The CM team works closely with corporate centuring and product development organizations to identify business models, products and technologies with the intent to diversify Bosch´s revenue streams and future proof of product lines. Your responsibilities: Support business stakeholders to quickly assess technologies sourced from early stage startups Develop software based solutions for automotive systems comprising embedded, cloud, and smartphone space Rapidly prototype new ideas by building showcases Quickly understand the existing development environment, help refine existing tools and train others Enthuse internal and external stakeholders by showcasing solutions and letting them visualize ( ‘See, Touch and Feel’) what an end product would look like Coordination and tracking of prototype requirements and status
Job Audience Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Timeframe minimum of 6 months, starting date TBA
  • Experience working in a technology start-up environment or similar
  • Working knowledge of Web Service Technologies as HTTP, REST, JSON, XML
  • Experience in Android, iOS and Windows 7 developer programs and environment
  • Experience in smart phone application programming with C/C++, Java or Objective-C
  • creative, open-minded, persistent team player, with a focus on detail and a strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Preference to work in a fast paced environment where “hacking” through problems quickly and helping others visualize solution sets is a top priority
